The Institute for Educational Management HCMC is pleased to announce and invite contributions of papers to the forthcoming International Scientific Conference on “Career Orientation and Business Startup in the Digital Era – Solutions for Vietnamese Education”
1. Objectives
– To establish an academic forum to exchange updated scientific information and report research findings, along with the potential applications of research on career orientation and business startup;
– To enhance academic exchange across scientific research domains among domestic and international scientists;
– To promote cooperation and partnership with international educational institutions.
2. Scope
The Conference will focus on the following areas:
– Theoretical issues and models of career orientation and business startup in the digital era;
– Current situation of career orientation and business startup in the digital era in Vietnam and around the globe;
– Disadvantages, advantages, opportunities, and challenges in career orientation and startup activities in the digital era;
– Establishment of an innovative ecosystem model for career orientation and business startup in the digital era: international experience and application in Vietnam;
– Innovative thinking within educational institutions;
– The role of science and technology in career orientation and business startup activities in Vietnam and other countries worldwide;
– The State’s administrative role in career orientation and business startup activities;
– Development of an ecosystem for career orientation and business startup on digital technology platforms;
– Solutions, mechanisms, and policies for establishing models of career orientation and business startup in the digital era;
– Refresher training for educational administrators and teachers at general educational institutions on career orientation and business startup in the digital era;
– Other topics directly related to the subject matter of the Conference.
3. Date and Location
The Conference is scheduled for November 30, 2023, at the Institute for Educational Management HCMC, No. 7-9 Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
4. Conference Paper Guidelines
Submitted Conference papers must be presented in adherence to the following guidelines:
– Language Requirement for Paper Submission: English or Vietnamese.
– Format Requirement:
+ Length: Between 8 and 10 pages of A4 size paper.
+ The paper should be drafted using the Microsoft Word processor (or equivalents) with Times New Roman font and font size 13. The character spacing should be normal, and not expanded or condensed. The 1.5 line spacing, top margin of 3.5 cm, bottom margin of 3 cm, left margin of 3.5 cm, and right margin of 2 cm should be set.
+ Required structure and format:
(1) Paper title: in uppercase and bold with font size 14; author’s full name in lowercase and bold.
(For example, Nguyen Van A); Working unit: in lowercase, bold, and italic; email address; and phone number.
(2) Abstract: 100-200 words;
(3) Keywords: 4-5 words or phrases;
(4) The body of the paper: Headings: in uppercase and bold; subheadings: in lowercase and bold.
(5) Citations and references: As per the American Psychological Association (APA) Citation Format.
5. Publications
Satisfactory papers will be published in the Proceedings of the International Conference with an ISBN or in the Journal of Educational Management Science, Institute for Educational Management HCMC (scored 0.75 points under Decision No. 22/QD-HDGSNN dated July 5, 2023, approving the List of Accredited Journals of Science in 2023).
6. Participants
Any domestic and international scientists, experts, lecturers, and educational administrators from educational institutions, enterprises, etc. who are interested in the objectives and scope of the Conference will be welcome to attend, present, and contribute to the exhibition at the Conference.
7. Paper Publication Fee
– Publication fee: VND 1,000,000/paper (one million Vietnamese Dong, applicable only to selected papers for publication).
– Authors/authors’ group are to pay the publication fee to the Organizer via the following bank account:

– Submission Deadline: From the date of this Announcement until October 30, 2023.
